I finally got to carry the gun today…pretty quick hunt…as I was able to pull five toms…right off the roost…the results…another MAHA double.
One gobbler weighed in at an amazing 25.86 pounds….the other guy was 20.05…beards were 10 1/2” and 9 ¾…and spurs were 1 1/8 & 1 inch and 7/8 & 1 inch.

A fall turkey hunt.
With the recent hot temperatures…the successes of our last couple turkey hatches…and the even more welcome rain…I decided to chase some gobblers this morning…it paid off with these fine two toms taken at mid-morning…off incredible habitat…eight mature toms came to the gobbler assembly yelps…and it will always be a hunt to remember….thanks again!!!!! The sun popped out…work was done…and it was time to chase a gobbler…a real nice tom who gobbled, strutted, and drummed intensely to the call…a beautiful tom…and another fine MAHA afternoon. Thanks! Steve
