 via email: Hi John, I thought you might like to see this picture of the turkey I shot yesterday. I am a first year member and I got this bird on my first day out after only hunting for three hours. It weighed 24 1/2 lbs and had a 10 inch beard. I am really happy I found MAHA-I am originally from Vermont but now live in Olathe, KS. Before MAHA I was always looking for places to hunt and had some frustrating experiences on public land. My 10 week old son, Matthew, is in the picture and I am looking forward to taking him hunting when he gets older.
