Turkey Field Shots

A photo taken of a bachelor group of toms the 1st of February while on the road visiting with landowners.

Watching turkeys throughout the year allows for better understanding of where to find them during spring season.

Some more birds we found willing to put a show on for us. These were mid to late season toms trying to entice some hens that cared nothing about them. Our shock calls solicited return gobbles, but no movement toward us.

Scouting pictures just before spring season while on a concurrent land run. The phrase "land run" means the one of the two Association partners out scouting land for potential hunting lease contracting.
