Bob B. Comparison to Texas Turkey Hunting

Within our turkey hunting testimonial section we supplant "[location deleted]" for all turkey hunting localities.
Dear John:

Just a quick note to say how pleased I am to once again be a member of the Mid-American Hunting Association. I first joined in 1998 and had several great hunts both pheasants and turkey. I left [location deleted] for Texas in the fall before I had a chance to hunt deer, although I saw plenty of deer while bird hunting.

When I moved to Texas I thought that I would be better off finding a lease closer to home, and expected to have plenty of places to choose from. The reality was that the Texas leases are over priced and you are limited to hunting one plot of land and often sharing this with 5 to 10 other hunters. The first "club" that I joined, for $3,000 had less than 5,000 acres and actually folded before deer season started. The only reason that I got my money back was that I paid by credit card and the club folded before my payment. In addition I do not enjoy hunting small deer (the racks maybe big but many deer are often under 100 lbs) over feeders, which is standard in Texas.

So now I will be commuting from Austin to Kansas and Missouri to hunt. I know from experience that I will find a great variety of game, no other hunters in my section and a great staff that will help me with reservations and help with finding motels and other services that a non-resident has such difficulty doing by themselves. More importantly, I am confident that the club will be financially sound for years to come.

You have a great product that is very hard to find and at a price that is unbelievable. I am back to stay

Sincerely

Bob B
